Cargo Operations Coordinator Role

As a key member of the logistics team, you will oversee and coordinate cargo operations at port terminals or onboard vessels. The ideal candidate will possess knowledge of regulatory standards, safety protocols, and operational efficiency during cargo handling.

The role involves planning, coordinating, and executing cargo loading and discharging operations in accordance with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective cargo management strategies to optimize vessel capacity and reduce transit times.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices throughout the cargo handling process.
  • Prepare and verify accurate documentation, including manifests, stowage plans, and bills of lading.
  • Monitor cargo conditions and report any discrepancies or damage to relevant stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, vessel crew, port authorities, logistics providers, and other external partners to ensure seamless cargo operations.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Maritime Studies, or a related field.
