Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver inclusive and sustainable cancer exercise programs for patients with various medical conditions.
  • Provide guidance on exercises and equipment usage to optimize benefits and prevent injury.
  • Monitor and assess client functional status, offering information and advice on exercise and physical activity.
  • Conduct group exercise and sports activities to enhance fitness and wellbeing.
  • Collaborate with therapists to provide feedback and receive instructions on interventions.
  • Assist in planning and executing Sport SG and SCS initiatives.
  • Develop patient education materials and participate in outreach activities.
  • Ensure accurate administration, inventory, monitoring, and evaluation within deadlines.
Requirements:
  • Diploma or Degree in Sports Science or Healthcare related field.
  • Experience in clinical settings, such as rehab centers or community hospitals.
  • Good coaching skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written skills, with ability to work independently and effectively with clinicians and stakeholders.
  • Certification as Exercise Physiologist with relevant organizations (e.g. ACSM, ESSA, CSEP) is an asset.
