This position is responsible for overseeing health, safety, and environmental matters on construction sites. The ideal candidate will possess a degree in Environmental, Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field, along with being registered as a WSH Officer (Level C) and ECO with at least 5 years of experience in an EHS managerial role.
Responsibilities:- Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential hazards and track corrective actions.
- Develop and enforce EHS policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local regulations and company standards.
- Collaborate with project teams, subcontractors, and authorities to implement safety protocols.
- Investigate incidents, analyze root causes, and recommend improvements.
- Manage EHS documentation, monitor environmental compliance, and promote a strong safety culture across the site.
- Degree in Environmental, Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
- Registered WSH Officer (Level C) and ECO with a minimum of 5 years' EHS experience in a managerial role within a main contractor.
- Strong knowledge of local EHS regulations, construction safety codes, and audit procedures.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and EHS reporting systems/tools.
- Capable of managing multiple tasks under pressure and responding effectively to site emergencies.
- Proven leadership in driving a strong safety culture and ensuring regulatory compliance on construction sites.
