Senior Property Officer Job Description

As a Senior Property Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of commercial spaces within MRT stations. Your primary responsibility will be to provide effective liaison channels with tenants during their lease term.

  • Provide immediate assistance to tenants on handover and takeover of commercial spaces.
  • Offer corrective, preventive, or improvement advice to enhance the operation of commercial spaces.
  • Ensure tenants observe and comply with SMRT and authorities' rules and guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Attend to tenant feedback/enquiries.
  • Ensure leased premises are handed over and taken over by stipulated timelines.
  • Ensure tenants' day-to-day operations within MRT stations comply with safety and security requirements.
  • Liaise with SMRT stakeholders and authorities on permit applications and site inspections.
  • Conduct inspections in commercial spaces to ensure tenants comply with statutory guidelines related to safety and security standards.
  • Manage and ensure tenancy fitting out, reinstatement works, and maintenance works are conducted appropriately and completed by stipulated timelines.
  • Attend and manage fault reports on ACMV, plumbing, and sanitary, fire protection matters promptly in tenancy premises.
  • Correspond and liaise on operational work arrangements and coordination to meet requirements and timelines.
  • Prepare, update, and submit operational activities progress reports.
  • Assist the Manager in preparing detailed scopes of works and conducting site show rounds for tenderers.
  • Educate and align APOs (Asset and Property Officers) regarding safety and management direction.

Qualifications & Work Experience:

  • Diploma in Building/Estate/Property Management or Engineering with a minimum of 2 years relevant working experience in property management.

Skills:

  • Service-oriented with good communication skills and a keen eye for details.
  • Good technical knowledge in building services.
  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Candidates with at least 2 years of experience in facility/operation/property management have an added advantage.
