Job Title: Process Operations Specialist

Job Description:

The Process Operations Specialist plays a vital role in ensuring the seamless operation of process units and equipment in a dynamic chemical industry setting.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failures and ensure optimal performance.
  • Conduct regular checks on process equipment such as pumps and compressors to guarantee smooth operations.
  • Carry out filter changes, isolate piping systems for plant start-up, shutdowns, and troubleshooting operations, and adjust process parameters under supervision.
  • Commission and decommission process equipment, perform emergency shutdowns, and handle non-conforming and off-spec products.
  • Prepare plant equipment for maintenance, prepare chemicals, and perform inter-tank transfers of chemicals and products.
Requirements:

Candidates must have at least 3 years' working experience as a Process Technician in a chemical industry and hold a NITEC or Diploma in Chemical Process Technology.

Working Conditions:

The successful candidate will work on a 3 to 4 days per week schedule with 12 hour rotating shifts (8am to 8pm) and be based on Jurong Island with transport provided from Jurong East.
