We are seeking an experienced accountant to join our finance team at SOFITEL SINGAPORE CITY CENTRE. As a Senior Financial Professional, you will be responsible for conducting daily accounting operations, including preparing the trial balance and financial reports, and reviewing and analyzing all accounts. You will also manage prepaid and accrued expense monthly allocations, and ensure that sub-ledgers and supporting evidence are in order and properly maintained.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of hotel operations and be able to work effectively with the Accounts Executive to ensure that all invoices are posted to accounting systems on a timely basis. They will also be responsible for overseeing and managing Accounts Executive in the performance of accounting tasks.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a relevant field
- Degree or Diploma in Business, Accounting, Finance, or Hospitality
- Excellent knowledge of hotel accounting software SUN and good knowledge in Opera, Fidelio, Material Control, and Micros POS
- Strong interpersonal skills, confident, approachable, and patient with excellent communication skills
