Global Environmental Leadership Opportunity

Micron Technology is seeking an experienced professional to fill a critical leadership role in driving environmental compliance and sustainability strategies.

This position requires a seasoned executive with a proven track record of implementing successful sustainability initiatives, ensuring regulatory compliance, and fostering stakeholder engagement.

The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of global environmental regulations, strong strategic thinking skills, and the ability to build and lead high-performing teams.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive global environmental compliance and sustainability strategy, ensuring adherence to all relevant environmental laws and regulations, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to advance Micron's environmental compliance and sustainability agenda.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sustainability Strategy Development: Develop and implement a comprehensive global environmental compliance and sustainability strategy aligned with corporate goals and values.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to all relevant environmental laws and regulations across all regions where Micron operates.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to advance Micron's environmental compliance and sustainability agenda.
  • Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing team of environmental compliance and sustainability professionals to achieve strategic objectives and deliver measurable results.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Sustainability, or a related field. A Master's degree or Ph.D. is preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in environmental compliance or sustainability, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Expertise: Deep knowledge of global environmental regulations, sustainability standards, and best practices in the semiconductor or technology industry.
  • Skills: Strong strategic thinking, project management, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
