Job Title:
Early Childhood Educator

The Early Childhood Educator plays a vital role in shaping the minds of young children and providing them with a solid foundation for future success.

The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for early childhood education and be committed to delivering high-quality programs that cater to the diverse needs of children.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and implement engaging and child-centred programs that promote learning and development;
  • Establish a secure and quality learning environment that fosters nurturing, trustful, respectful, and meaningful relationships with children;
  • Actively participate in centre initiatives to support collaborative efforts with the community;
  • Contribute professional expertise towards centre initiatives, educational programs, and projects;
  • Build positive relationships with parents as partners in care and education;
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest educational developments and continually upgrade skills and knowledge;
  • Participate in simple action research projects;
  • Role-model professionalism in appearance, speech, and actions;
  • Meet ongoing training and professional development requirements.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Certificate in Early Childhood Care and Education – Teaching (DECCE-T or CECCCE) or Advanced Certificate in Early Years (ACEY);
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Team player with a willingness to contribute to a collaborative team environment;
  • Experience in early childhood education is an advantage; however, on-the-job training and support will be provided to candidates without prior experience.
