About the Role:

Key Responsibilities:

Answering Phone Calls:

The Medical Support Professional will be responsible for answering phone calls from patients, taking messages, and directing them to the appropriate staff member.

Taking Appointments:

The role will involve scheduling appointments with patients, managing waitlists, and ensuring that all necessary information is collected before each appointment.

Dispensing Medicine:

The Medical Support Professional will be responsible for dispensing medication to patients, following established protocols and guidelines.

Collecting Cash:

The role will involve collecting cash payments from patients, accurately processing transactions, and maintaining accurate records.

Tracing Results:

The Medical Support Professional will be responsible for tracing test results, communicating with patients and other healthcare professionals, and ensuring that all necessary documentation is up-to-date.

Submitting Insurance Claims:

The role will involve submitting insurance claims on behalf of patients, following established procedures and guidelines.

Ordering Medicine:

The Medical Support Professional will be responsible for ordering medical supplies and equipment, ensuring that stock levels are maintained and that all necessary orders are placed in a timely manner.

Keeping Track of Stock:

The role will involve monitoring inventory levels, reporting any discrepancies or issues to management, and implementing processes to improve stock control.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Education: O Levels
  • Clinical Experience: Essential
  • Computer Software/ Clinic Management System Experience: Desirable
