Job Title: Part-time Beverage Specialist

Job Description:
A modern coffeehouse in a vibrant East Coast location is seeking a highly motivated and responsible team player to join their staff. As a part-time beverage specialist, you will be the face of the company, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that every customer has an outstanding experience.

Responsibilities:
• Welcome customers warmly and provide a friendly atmosphere
• Explain the coffee menu and answer questions effectively
• Learn about brewing methods, beverage blends, and light food preparation
• Prepare and serve coffee drinks by following prescribed recipes and preparation techniques
• Maintain inventories by replenishing coffee bean supply, maintaining supplies, pastries, sandwiches, cake, and cookies, specialty drinks for the coffee bar
• Maintain store cleanliness (dine-in area, display shelves, work area, cutlery)
• Develop knowledge of handling POS systems and various software

Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous experience in a similar role preferred
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
