Electrical and Mechanical Vehicle Technician

We are seeking a skilled Electrical and Mechanical Vehicle Technician to join our team. As an Electrical and Mechanical Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out maintenance, inspection, and basic repair work on electrical and mechanical vehicle systems.

  • Experience with prestige vehicles is essential for this role.
  • You will need to inspect components for wear and tear and perform repairs or replacements as necessary.
  • Verification of vehicle functions and its subsystems is also a key responsibility in this position.

Reporting and Interface

  • Provides information to the supervisor regarding preapproval for additional repair work.
  • Notifies the Service Advisor immediately of any work interruptions resulting from additional required work, complications, missing parts, or missed deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Use checklists and repair instructions, tools, and test equipment according to current guidelines.
  • Have co-responsibility for customer satisfaction by providing optimal technical solutions on customer vehicles.
  • Handle tools, special tools, and work clothing properly.
  • Use equipment cost-effectively.
  • Hand over dismantled, replacement, or warranty parts to the warranty department cleaned and labeled.
  • Dispose waste according to local legislated guidelines.
  • Observe accident prevention guidelines and report incidents to the supervisor.

Qualifications

  • Technical training as an automotive technician or industrial technician.
  • Vocational training at an automotive dealership or similar facility.
  • Driving license.
  • Team orientation and customer-focused attitude.
  • Have the required experience and skills level to carry out maintenance, inspection, and basic repairs.

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday: 8:30am - 5:30pm
Saturday: 8:30am - 5:30pm
