  • Duties and Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing control systems for advanced power converter systems, including the development of algorithms and strategies to improve dynamic response, fault tolerance, and performance.

  • Develop mathematical models and perform simulations to validate control system designs and optimize performance
  • Collaborate with software engineers to implement control algorithms in embedded software and firmware
  • Design and execute test plans to validate control system performance and robustness
  • Lead and coordinate the integration of control electronics with power converter hardware
  • Prepare comprehensive documentation of control system designs, including specifications, schematics, and test reports
  • Qualifications:

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Control Systems Engineer with a strong background in electrical engineering and control systems. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or a related field, and at least 8 years of experience in electrical hardware design and controls engineering.

  • Advanced knowledge of control systems design, analysis, and simulation tools (e.g., MATLAB/Simulink)
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as C/C++ for embedded systems
  • Experience with hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing and control system validation with exposure to real-time simulation tools like OPAL-RT or Typhoon HIL
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities
