As a Care Partner, you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of our residents by providing personalized care and support. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Assisting residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Providing emotional support and social interaction through engaging activities and conversations.
- Assisting with meal preparation and serving, as well as cleaning up after mealtimes.
- Monitoring residents' health status and reporting any concerns to the nursing staff.
- Assisting with simple nursing tasks, such as feeding, toileting, and showering.
- Conducting activities that promote socialization, cognitive stimulation, and physical well-being.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A WSQ Certificate in Healthcare (Nursing Care) or equivalent qualification.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a nursing home or community hospital.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to work rotating shifts and adapt to changing circumstances.
