Design Engineer (Renewable Energy)

We are seeking a highly skilled Design Engineer (Renewable Energy) to expand our client's regional market. As part of our dynamic team, you will maintain a high level of business literacy and build strong relationships with external and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop technical designs for renewable systems, including grid-tied solar rooftop systems, solar + BESS systems, and ground-mounted solar utility systems.
  • Utilize Helioscope/PVSyst and AutoCAD to create and optimize PV layouts and electrical designs for solar projects.
  • Develop electrical designs, including single-line drawings, for solar projects.
  • Support project development by preparing proposals and tender submissions with technical solutions.
  • Collaborate with the design, asset management, and O&M teams to provide feedback, technical input, and validate data on innovative ideas and concepts.
  • Review proposals submitted by EPC or subcontractors.
Requirements:
  • Degree or diploma in electrical engineering, renewable field, or equivalent.
  • In-depth knowledge of international codes applicable for solar engineering.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to develop solutions to technical issues.
  • Minimum 5 years of related experience in the solar PV industry or energy storage.
  • Proficiency in PVsyst, Helioscope, and/or other system design simulation tools.
  • Proficiency in English.

Employment Details:

  • Employment Type: Full-time/Permanent.
  • Work Schedule: 5 days, 8:30am-5:30pm.
  • Annual Leave: 14 days upon confirmation.
  • Work Location: Central Singapore (walking distance to MRT).
