Key Responsibilities:
  • Conceptualize and develop interior design concepts based on client requirements, project objectives and industry best practices.
  • Design and present proposals including space planning, mood boards, sketches, 2D/3D renderings, material selection for client review and approval.
  • Revise drawings as necessary or as client dictates, ensuring timely completion of projects.
  • Provide guidance and support to clients in selecting fixtures, finishes and furnishings.
  • Review and approve shop drawings, material samples and finishes to ensure alignment with approved design concept.
  • Analyze existing space during site surveys to gather essential information for design development.
  • Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring adherence to project schedule, quality standard and timely completion.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate design implementation and resolve any design issues during construction.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree/diploma in Interior Design or a related field is highly desirable.
  • A minimum of 5-8 years of working experience as a Senior Designer/Interior Designer, preferably in a similar industry or firm.
  • Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp or 3DMax or 3D modeling tools, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and Microsoft Office is required.
  • Strong knowledge of design principles and space planning, staying updated on current design trends and technologies.
  • Excellent creativity and artistic skills with attention to detail, strong organizational skills and effective communication skills are essential.
