EIP/Special Needs Educator

EIP/Special Needs Teacher plays a vital role in supporting the educational, social and emotional growth of students with special needs.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent classroom management skills, be able to create engaging lesson plans and effectively communicate with parents and stakeholders. Strong knowledge of curriculum design, instruction and assessment is also required.
In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for conducting team meetings with allied health professionals, planning and implementing social/emotional/behavioural interventions and maintaining accurate student records.
A strong command of the English language is essential, as is a minimum of one year experience working with young children with learning disabilities or preschoolers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Classroom Management: Ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment that fosters social, emotional and academic growth.
- Lesson Planning: Design engaging and challenging lessons that cater to diverse learning needs.
- Communication: Effectively communicate with parents, teachers and other stakeholders to ensure seamless collaboration.
- Assessment: Conduct regular assessments to track student progress and inform instructional decisions.
Requirements:
- Advanced Diploma in Early Childhood Intervention (Special Needs) or Diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education-Teaching (DECCE-T)
- Minimum one year experience working with young children with learning disabilities or preschoolers
- Strong command of written and spoken English language
