  • Job Description:

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the safe and efficient execution of lifting operations. This includes ensuring compliance with relevant rigging and safety standards, conducting regular inspections of equipment, and maintaining accurate records.

  • Key Responsibilities:

  • 1. Conduct toolbox talks and pre-lift meetings to guarantee team understanding of lifting procedures and risks.

  • 2. Maintain compliance with relevant rigging and safety standards, including OSHA, ANSI, NCCER, and LOLER.

  • 3. Inspect lifting and rigging equipment for certification, damage, and usability.

  • 4. Keep an up-to-date rigging equipment register and lifting documentation accurate.

  • 5. Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, crane operators, and HSE teams for planning and execution.

  • 6. Oversee and guide rigging crews during critical or heavy lifts.

  • 7. Document daily lift checklists, permits, and incident/near-miss reports when applicable.

  • 8. Evaluate third-party lifting equipment inspections for industry standard compliance.

  • 9. Ensure all personnel involved in lifting are qualified and certified for their roles.

  • 10. Communicate effectively in Tamil and/or Bangla is required.

  • A minimum of 10 years work experience as Lifting / Rigging Supervisor in oil & gas or large construction projects is preferred.
