Job Description

As a Senior Application Technologist, you will lead the development of innovative and competitive seasoning solutions that meet customer specifications and adhere to formulation standards. This involves taking full ownership of projects, offering technical training, mentoring junior application technologists, and building strong relationships with customers.

This role presents an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to have a significant impact on the food and flavor industry, contributing to both customer success and growth.

The Position:
  • Lead development work on key snack accounts independently.
  • Create innovative and competitive seasoning solutions that meet customer briefs and align with formulation standards.
  • Demonstrate deep expertise in seasonings, raw materials, and base applications such as bouillons, noodles, sauces, and snacks.
  • Provide technical training and guidance to application technologists across the region and mentor junior team members on standards and best practices.
  • Support the commercial team by participating in customer visits, presentations, and workshops, offering technical insights and demonstrating product value.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in the food or flavor industry.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong knowledge of good laboratory practices.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Ability to thrive in a multi-cultural environment.
  • Open to travel for work-related purposes.
  • Comfortable working in a laboratory setting.
