About the Role:

MAYBANK SINGAPORE LIMITED is seeking a highly skilled Credit Manager, Risk Management to join our team. As a key member of our credit risk management team, you will be responsible for providing strong risk governance and robust challenge processes for non-retail credit portfolios.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective risk management strategies to ensure business development within acceptable credit appetite and portfolio metrics.
  • Provide recommendations for improving end-to-end credit processes, including guidance to business units through sharing sessions and transaction structuring alternatives.
  • Conduct independent credit evaluations and/or credit approvals of facilities, making sound recommendations to improve asset quality while supporting business growth.
  • Participate in various working groups/committees at Bank/industry/regulatory levels.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Banking and Finance/Business Administration/Economics or related discipline from a recognized university.
  • Minimum 6 years of relevant credit evaluation & approval experience.
  • Well-versed in credit analysis and financial modeling.
  • Extensive experience in the corporate/commercial credit space, with a strong emphasis on term lending, trade/working capital financing, and derivative products.
  • Knowledge of credit underwriting best practices and compliance/regulatory issues.
