Clinical Research Liaison Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Clinical Research Liaison to join our team.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating clinical research studies, managing patient recruitment, data collection, and documentation. The role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with research teams, clinicians, and clinic staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruit and screen patients based on study eligibility, providing clear explanations of study goals.
  • Obtain consent, administer questionnaires, and follow up with participants.
  • Coordinate closely with research teams, clinicians, and clinic staff to meet study needs.
  • Manage tight deadlines and achieve research targets.

Research Documentation & Administrative Duties:

  • Conduct patient recruitment, data collection, and data management.
  • Utilize databases like Redcap and hospital systems to maintain accurate records.
  • Ensure strict compliance with research protocols and regulations.
  • Collaborate with investigators and labs to establish clinical workflows for recruitment.
  • Prepare documents for audits and assist with IRB submissions and reports.
  • Maintain professional standards and adhere to hospital policies and ethics.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by the Principal Investigator (PI).

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Min. Degree in Science/ Public Health/ Social Science with 2 years relevant experience
  • Adaptable, strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Organized and able to multitask
  • Knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines and the Human Biomedical Research Act (HBRA)
