As a key player in global materials engineering solutions, we're seeking an accomplished Regional Category Manager to drive category excellence across the Facilities and Equipment domain in Asia Pacific.

This strategic role demands a high level of procurement acumen, market intelligence, and stakeholder engagement to deliver measurable value in cost optimization, supplier innovation, and risk mitigation.

The successful candidate will operate with a high degree of autonomy, influencing sourcing decisions across multiple business units, and will be instrumental in shaping long-term category strategies aligned with corporate objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Category Strategy & Execution: Develop and execute regional category strategies for Facilities and Equipment, leveraging internal demand insights and external market intelligence.
  • Sourcing & Contract Management: Lead end-to-end sourcing processes including RFx development, bid evaluation, and supplier negotiations.
  • Stakeholder & Supplier Engagement: Act as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders, translating business needs into sourcing strategies.

Requirements:

  • 5-6 years in indirect procurement, with 3-5 years focused on facilities and construction sourcing.
  • Strategic thinking: Ability to interpret complex business needs and translate them into actionable sourcing strategies.
  • Contractual acumen: Proficiency in contract drafting, negotiation, and risk mitigation.
  • Analytical rigor: Advanced Excel and data visualization skills (Tableau preferred).
  • Communication & influence: Strong interpersonal skills to engage stakeholders across functions and geographies.
