Jewellery Sales Associate Role

We are seeking a skilled Jewellery Sales Associate to join our team. As a Jewellery Sales Associate, you will be responsible for assisting customers in selecting and purchasing jewellery items that meet their preferences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist customers in choosing the perfect piece of jewellery, taking into account their style, budget, and personal preferences.
  • Provide detailed information about gemstones, metals, and jewellery maintenance to customers, ensuring they understand the value and quality of each item.
  • Maintain the store's jewellery display in a tidy and organized manner, showcasing products in an attractive and appealing way.
  • Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using the POS system, ensuring seamless and secure payment processing.
  • Address customer inquiries, issues, and returns in a polite and professional manner, resolving any problems promptly and fairly.
  • Stay up-to-date on jewellery trends, styles, and industry developments to offer expert advice and recommendations to customers.

Requirements:

  • Familiarity with various types of jewellery and gemstones, including precious stones and metals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to build rapport with customers and colleagues alike.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced retail environment, managing multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
  • Proficient in using POS systems, with experience in handling cash, credit card transactions, and other payment methods.
