Application Solutions Lead

As a key member of our IT team, you will lead the design, implementation, and lifecycle management of application solutions. Your role will be to ensure alignment with global/regional IT strategies and regional business priorities.

With a strong understanding of business processes, you will bridge IT with business stakeholders to deliver relevant, effective, and value-driven solutions. You will work closely with business users, cross-functional teams, and external vendors to deliver high-quality application services and enhancements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive operational excellence through proactive incident management, process optimization, and innovative solutions that improve user experience and business outcomes.
  • Contribute to the strategic roadmap for application modernization and rationalization by identifying opportunities to leverage emerging technologies.
  • Connect regional applications with corporate platforms to ensure seamless integration and alignment across the enterprise.

Success in this role requires a proactive mindset, strong stakeholder engagement skills, and the ability to lead through influence in a matrixed environment.

Requirements
  • Degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in software application development, support, and project delivery.
  • Proficiency in .Net, Java, SQL, web development, and cloud-native technologies.
  • Good knowledge of software development life cycle and understanding of the building blocks of the information system: application layers, infrastructure, and security.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and vendor management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects.
  • Experience in the shipping or logistics industry is a strong advantage.
