Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Derivatives Broker to join our team. As a Derivatives Broker, you will work closely with your colleagues to efficiently arrange derivatives transactions for clients.

You will need to be an excellent communicator, with strong interpersonal skills for colleague and client interaction, as well have keen attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

A proactive and willing attitude, together with integrity and professionalism, and an interest in derivatives broking are essential.

  • Work closely with colleagues and clients to provide market insights and analysis, and pricing updates in a timely manner.
  • Support the arranging and execution of futures and options trades on behalf of clients.
  • Build and develop relationships with new and existing clients to drive growth.
  • Participate and attend all necessary regulatory training.
  • Assist the Onboarding team regarding AML/KYC due diligence queries.
  • Be responsible for individual regulatory compliance, and support the team with ensuring they meet this also.
  • Attend team meetings to discuss commercial performance.
  • Represent the company at industry events and initiatives, and act as an ambassador.
  • Be aware of the business strategy for the company, and seek to help identify new business opportunities relating to trends, future markets, products and clients.
  • Travel and attend client social events where required.
  • Additional/ad hoc duties as required to meet the needs of the business.

Others

Please note that previous experience or exposure of commodity or freight derivatives broking or trading is preferred, with at least 5 years' relevant experience at least. Strong understanding of financial markets and derivatives broking is advantageous.
