Job Title: Senior Design Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Design Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in the structural design of complex projects, ensuring efficient and economical structural concept designs.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Civil/Structural Engineering Design Work: Perform civil/structural engineering design work for complex projects, staying up-to-date with industry developments.
  2. Analysis and Expertise: Analyze structural components using engineering software, develop expertise in structural design with BS/EU code of practice for bungalows, adhering to local design standards and codes.
  3. Communication and Liaison: Attend client, consultant, and contractor meetings, effectively communicating project progress and requirements, liaise with government authorities to ensure timely approval and compliance.
  4. Project Management: Report directly to the Project Director/Management, providing regular updates on project milestones and challenges.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Mastery of a Master's Degree/Bachelor's Degree/Professional Degree in Engineering (Civil & Structural) or equivalent, recognized by the Professional Engineering Board of Singapore, at least 3 years of experience in related field.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Strong working attitude, self-motivation, independence, excellent time management skills, proficiency in various design software including Tekla Tedds, Staad, Plaxis, Esteem, Midas, AutoCad, and GStarCAD.
