Job Title: Expert Structural Designer

We are seeking an experienced and skilled structural designer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality design drawings and documents on time.

  • Independently develop structural designs to meet Class and Technical specification requirements.
  • Deliver project design drawings and documents according to project plan schedules.
  • Review external designers' technical specifications, general arrangements, and drawing lists.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with clients and stakeholders to ensure design requirements are met.
  • Perform FE analysis using FEMAP (an advantage).
  • Review and check project team members' drawings or documents prior to submission.
  • Perform structural calculations, rudder calculations, and designs.
  • Coordinate with detail designers and production designers to ensure process efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in marine/offshore industry structure newbuilding engineering design.
  • Degree or Diploma in a relevant discipline.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, AVEVA, and FEMAP.

Desirable Skills:

  • Good communication and analytical skills.
  • Strong teamworking spirit.
