Job Description

R&D Engineer (Electronics) is a crucial role in our organization. This position requires an individual with a strong background in electronics and engineering to design and develop innovative products that meet market needs.

  • Industry/ Organization Type: Manufacturing/Electronic Components and Boards
  • Position Title: R&D Engineer
  • Working Location: Bedok
  • Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 8.15 AM – 6.15 PM

The ideal candidate should have experience with passive electronic components design, understanding of AutoCAD Electrical, and good knowledge of product safety, environmental testing, and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC).

Key Responsibilities

  • Designing new products to meet market needs
  • Supporting the complete R&D project life cycle from concept to manufacturing
  • Giving concise and informative demos/presentations to team members or product managers
  • Finalizing designs and their deliverables for smooth transition to stakeholders
  • Preparing product documentation like bills of material, material specifications, and process documentation
  • Evaluating processes and design improvements
  • Coordinating with the Global R&D team

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Technology (Electrical/Electronics) or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of experience with passive electronic components design
  • Understanding and work knowledge of AutoCAD Electrical
