We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Executive Housekeeper to join our team at MERCURE SINGAPORE BUGIS. As a key member of our Housekeeping department, you will be responsible for assisting the Executive Housekeeper in planning and organizing the overall public area, guestrooms, laundry, and room operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist the Executive Housekeeper in maintaining established standards according to hotel requirements.
- Coordinate all Housekeeping operations on the Guestrooms.
- Ensure that all employees report for duty punctually wearing the correct uniform and name badge at all times.
- Assist in building an efficient team of employees by taking an active interest in their welfare, safety, and development.
- Lead, train, motivate, and inspire employees to provide courteous and professional service.
- Supervise junior colleagues within the department, ensuring that correct standards and methods of service are maintained.
- Ensure that all employees have a complete understanding of and adhere to the Hotel's Employee Rules and Regulations and Fire, Health, and Safety policies.
- Minimum 5 years relevant work experience as Housekeeping Supervisor or 2 years Assistant Housekeeper experience.
- Able to motivate staff, lead, and guide a team.
- Competent in MS Office applications.
- Able to multi-task and detail-oriented.
- Good interpersonal and communications skills.
- Able to work shift, weekends, and public holidays.
