Canine Care Specialist Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Canine Care Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our animal care team, you will be responsible for creating a safe and nurturing environment for our canine students.

The ideal candidate will have the ability to provide basic training, deliver high-quality care, and interact with dogs in playgroup settings. You will also be responsible for taking the dogs out for walks, potty breaks, and administering food, water, and medicine according to schedule.

In addition to these tasks, you will maintain records of the dogs' daily activities and keep the environment clean and healthy. Your excellent customer service skills will be essential in handling pet registrations and customer inquiries.

To succeed in this role, you must be willing to work shifts, night shifts, weekends, and holidays when required, and able to work at least 35 hours a week.

A minimum Diploma in any field from a recognized education institution is required, with higher learning in Psychology, Children's Education, or Veterinary Technology being an advantage. Prior work experience in Pet Daycare, Boarding Facility, Hospitality, Service Industry, or Veterinary Clinic is also a plus.
