Murex Front Office Specialist

Upskills is seeking a highly motivated Murex Senior Front Office Consultant to join our team in the Asia Pacific, Middle East, and Europe regions. As a key member of our financial software consulting team, you will work closely with clients to deliver expert solutions in the cash and derivatives markets.
Key Responsibilities:- Analyze business processes and functional requirements to drive the delivery of relevant user requirements documentation.
- Work hands-on with Murex Front Office to configure and test to ensure business requirements are met.
- Liaise with customers to scope, gather, review, and implement their Front Office business / functional requirements.
- Work with the users to test, achieve signoff (UAT), and move the system toward go-live.
- Closely work with the Stream Lead to manage customer expectations on timelines.
- Support clients with the development of their own internal project plan, including the identification of key setup and configuration tasks, scope considerations, timeline, etc.
- Responsible for training users on basic use of the system, new functionality, etc.
- Assist in system integration, data migration and implementation.
- Bachelor or Master Degree, preferably from Financial Engineering, Applied Finance, Business or Computer Science.
- Minimum 5 years of Murex Front Office experience working in the capital markets industry.
- Strong working experience on Murex Front Office (Pricing, Simulation, Pretrade,), and strategy builder.
- Familiar with SQL, MySQL.
- Experience with Operating System, such as Window, Linux.
- Strong knowledge & functional experience in at least 2 asset classes. E.g. FX MM, IRD, EQD.
- Experience in the implementation and support of a Front office system within a bank.
- Experience writing functional and business specifications with the ability to map conceptual financial and business elements to practical system capabilities.
- Able to work in a team environment, focused on providing high quality of service to the client.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, able to handle priorities and manage business expectations.
- Strong and demonstrable problem solving/ analytical skills.
