We are seeking a distinguished Visiting Writer to lead our Asia Creative Writing Programme.

">Programme Overview

The programme aims to appoint outstanding established writers as programme leaders, provide a strong foundation in creative writing to promising writers, support existing literary talent with sustained development programmes, and promote intercultural understanding among writers.

The Role of the Visiting Writer
  • Undertake teaching and marking duties in NTU for one semester.
  • Conduct public programmes including masterclasses/workshops, individual writing consultations/mentorships, and participation in public engagement events.

Applicants should have a publication or production history demonstrating excellence and be regarded as experts in their practice. They should be creative writing practitioners or literary translators working in at least one of Singapore's four official languages, with a strong track record in instruction or facilitation of writer development programs.
