Mold Fitter Role

As a skilled mold fitter, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of production machines.

  • Key Responsibilities
    • Mold Installation: Ensure precise alignment and readiness for injection molding operations by fitting, mounting, and setting up new molds on production machines.
    • Mold Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections to identify areas that require attention. Troubleshoot and repair existing molds to maintain performance and extend service life.
    • Quality & Troubleshooting: Conduct dimensional checks using measurement tools to ensure molds function correctly. Resolve issues impacting mold functionality, working closely with team members and other departments.
    • Workflow Management: Plan and organize tasks to meet schedules and KPIs. Ensure smooth mold changeovers and uninterrupted production.

Requirements

  • A minimum 'N' Level certification is required.
  • 3–5 years of experience in mold fitting or related roles is preferred.
  • Skilled in reading and interpreting 2D engineering drawings is essential.
  • Hands-on experience in milling and grinding operations is highly advantageous.
