About the Role
We're looking for a seasoned professional to oversee compliance with regulatory and industry standards for card payment transactions, ensuring seamless customer experience and minimal disruptions. As a key member of our Spend OPS team, you'll focus on transactional efficiency and regulatory alignment.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Monitor transaction processing metrics, including decline rates, authorization speeds, and transaction volumes.
- Understand compliance requirements with all card networks (Visa, Mastercard) regulations and scheme requirements.
- Collaborate with card risk and fraud teams to detect and mitigate abuse activity within card transactions.
- Implement controls that protect the company from reputational and financial risks associated with non-compliance.
- Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) for transaction health and scheme compliance.
- Report on transactional health and compliance metrics to executive leadership, identifying areas for improvement.
Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- Deep knowledge of card payment networks, regulatory standards, and the transaction lifecycle.
- Familiarity with regulatory standards like PCI-DSS, as well as specific card network rules.
- Strong analytical skills to analyze complex data and identify trends, risks, and areas for improvement.
- Effective leadership and communication skills to drive initiatives across cross-functional teams.
