Housekeeping Supervisor Position Overview

Job Summary:

  • Directly oversee the work assignments of assigned housekeeping personnel, ensuring they are familiar with in-house facilities to assist guests.
  • Maintain high standards and discipline for dress, hygiene, uniform, appearance, posture, and conduct of housekeeping staff.
  • Conduct daily room inspections to ensure cleanliness and proper condition of furnishings, facilities, and equipment.
  • Ensure guest requests are promptly met and company policies are consistently implemented.
  • Monitor and control housekeeping tasks, maintaining the health and security of personnel and guests.
  • Manage necessary tools, supplies, and equipment for daily operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and direct the activities of housekeeping staff to achieve exceptional service quality.
  • Implement effective strategies to maintain a clean and comfortable environment for guests.
  • Develop and implement systems to monitor and improve housekeeping processes.
  • Train and supervise housekeeping staff to ensure excellent performance and adherence to hotel standards.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.

Requirements:

  • Relevant degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 1 year experience in housekeeping management.
  • Proven knowledge of housekeeping operations and cleaning methods.
  • Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken).
  • Attention to detail, strong leadership skills, and excellent interpersonal abilities.
