Job Title: Cultivating Young Minds

We are seeking a qualified Chinese Language Teacher to create an immersive Mandarin environment for our preschoolers.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to design and deliver a vibrant Chinese language program that aligns with our approach. As a key member of our teaching team, you will be responsible for fostering a love for the Chinese language through engaging activities such as storytelling, music, drama, and hands-on projects.

  • Design and Implement Curriculum: Develop a dynamic, age-appropriate Mandarin curriculum for preschool children (18 months to 6 years old).
  • Foster a Love for the Language: Create a joyful and supportive classroom environment where children feel safe to explore and express themselves in Mandarin.
  • Collaborate with Teachers: Work with English-speaking teachers to create a holistic, bilingual learning experience.
  • Build Relationships: Establish strong relationships with parents, providing regular updates on their child's progress.
  • Assess and Document Progress: Assess and document each child's development, contributing to their individual learning journey.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following qualifications:

  • ECDA L2 Certification: You must hold a valid ECDA L2 certification in Early Childhood Care & Education or equivalent.
