Job Title: Patient Care Assistant

Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Patient Care Assistant to join our healthcare team. As a Patient Care Assistant, you will provide high-quality patient care and support in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist nurses and medical staff with patient care activities, including bathing, dressing, and feeding patients.
  • Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment by adhering to infection control measures and following standard precautions.
  • Participate in designated nursing procedures and treatments, ensuring the general comfort and well-being of patients.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful as a Patient Care Assistant, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Minimum Higher Nitec / Nitec / GCE N / O / A Level / or Equivalent qualification.
  • ITE Skills Certificate Health Care (Inpatient) or WSQ Higher Certificate in Healthcare Support preferred.
  • Ability to work on 3 rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
