Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Hostel Management Trainee. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with the day-to-day operations of our hostel, including managing reservations, registering guests, and providing exceptional customer service.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Work experience as a Hostel Front Desk Officer or similar role
  • Experience with hotel reservations software
  • Understanding of how online travel agency websites operate
  • Customer service attitude
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Education in hotel management is a plus
Responsibilities:
  1. Perform all check-in and check-out tasks, including cashier duties
  2. Manage reservations and liaise with OTA account managers
  3. Register guests, collecting necessary information such as contact details and exact dates of stay
  4. Welcome guests upon arrival and assign rooms
  5. Provide information about the hostel, available rooms, rates, and amenities
  6. Respond to clients' complaints in a timely and professional manner
  7. Liaise with housekeeping staff to ensure all rooms are clean, tidy, and fully-furnished to accommodate guests' needs
  8. Confirm group reservations and arrange personalized services for VIP customers and event attendees
  9. Maintain updated records of bookings and payments
  10. Assist in the administrative and marketing aspects of the company
