Job Title:

Business Operations Director


Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain high standards of service, food quality and hygiene.
  • Oversee daily operations to ensure efficient and smooth service.
  • Monitor stock levels and manage inventory ordering and waste reduction.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
  • Implement quick effective solutions for operational issues.
Team Leadership:
  • Recruit, train, supervise staff including baristas, servers, kitchen staff.
  • Schedule shifts, manage time-off requests, proper staffing levels.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, coaching sessions, staff meetings.
  • Foster a positive motivating work environment.
Customer Experience:
  • Ensure every guest has welcoming enjoyable experience.
  • Handle customer feedback resolve complaints professionally.
  • Implement service improvements based on customer feedback market trends.
Financial Management:
  • Assist in managing budgets controlling costs maximizing profitability.
  • Track daily sales report key operational metrics.
  • Help implement pricing strategies promotional campaigns.
Maintenance & Supplies:
  • Ensure all café equipment maintained serviced regularly.
  • Coordinate suppliers manage vendor relationships.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as an Operations Manager Café Manager or similar role in F&B.
  • Strong leadership team management skills.
  • Excellent organizational problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in POS systems basic budgeting scheduling tools.
  • Knowledge of food safety hygiene standards.
  • Great interpersonal communication skills.
  • Flexibility to work weekends holidays as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certification in hospitality management related field.
  • Barista training experience.
  • Experience in multi-site café operations if applicable.
