We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Communication Therapist to join our clinical team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong passion for working with patients from diverse backgrounds in various clinical settings.

The primary responsibilities of this role include:

  • Assessment, Diagnosis, and Treatment
    • Conduct thorough assessments to identify language, speech, and swallowing disorders
    • Determine the most effective treatment plans to address these disorders
  • Patient Communication and Collaboration
    • Communicate effectively with patients and their family members/caregivers
    • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to design and implement treatment plans
  • Quality Care and Documentation
    • Utilize evidence-based approaches and innovative techniques to deliver high-quality care
    • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient case history and intervention
  • Progress Evaluation and Program Development
    • Evaluate patient progress and make adjustments to therapy programs as needed

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:

  • A degree in speech-language pathology
  • Registration with the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC) and a valid practising certificate recognized by MOH Singapore
  • Relevant clinical experience working with adult patients with acquired communication disorders and dysphagia
  • Strong understanding of communication-related disorders and treatments
  • Resourcefulness, strong problem-solving skills, and excellent interpersonal skills
