Job Title:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Field Support Specialist to provide technical service support, installation, commissioning, and repair of laboratory equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical consultation to customers
  • Respond to customers' requests by troubleshooting problems and take corrective actions within targeted timeline
  • Prepare service reports
  • Able to understand technical drawings/troubleshooting charts
  • High level of electrical/electronic troubleshooting down to component level
  • Experience with analytical instrument installation/preventive maintenance/service procedure
  • Provide quality repair and preventive maintenance service of company analytical equipment at customer site

Requirements:

  • Diploma/Degree in Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Detail oriented, self-starter, and coachable
  • High Level of troubleshooting attitude and adapt to multi-tasking environment
  • Ability to work under pressure and strong problem-solving skills
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented individual with good business acumen

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of related work experience in service/maintenance within scientific industry will be an advantage
  • Understanding of robotic liquid handling equipment will be an advantage
  • Valid Class 3 driving license and personal vehicle will be an added advantage
