Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Sustainability Expert to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in guiding clients towards achieving their sustainability goals and objectives.

Your primary responsibility will be to provide expert advisory services on sustainability reporting, carbon footprint assessments, and decarbonization strategies. You will work closely with clients to understand their needs and develop tailored solutions that align with their business goals and regulatory requirements.

In addition to your technical expertise, you will also possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, enabling you to effectively collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders alike.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct thorough carbon footprint assessments (Scope 1, Scope 2, and Scope 3) for corporates and buildings, identifying opportunities for emission reduction through sustainable building operations and construction processes.

  2. Draft high-quality sustainability reports aligned to international reporting standards (e.g., GRI, SASB, ISSB).

  3. Develop and refine training content on topics such as sustainability reporting, carbon accounting, and decarbonization road mapping, supporting the delivery of workshops and seminars.

  4. Stay up-to-date with the latest sustainability trends, technologies, and advancements in sustainability regulations, green building practices, and carbon accounting methodologies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A degree in Sustainability, Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Prior experience working with a consulting firm or government agency focused on sustainability reporting, decarbonization, or environmental initiatives is preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of sustainability reporting/carbon-related disclosure reporting aligned to international standards (e.g., GRI, SASB, IFRS S1, IFRS S2, TCFD).
  • In-depth knowledge on carbon accounting, reporting, and verification aligned to international frameworks and standards (e.g., GHG Protocol, ISO 14064-1, ISO 14064-3, BS EN 15978).
  • Excellent project management skills and attention to detail.
  • Fluency in spoken and written English.
