Trade Finance Leader

Manage end-to-end trade finance operations, ensuring financial risk management and effective collaboration with banks and Financial Institutions (FIs) to support commodity trading activities.
This role works closely with traders, operations, and financial partners to secure financing, mitigate risks, and ensure regulatory compliance in international trade.

Main Responsibilities
  • Issuance, amendment, and negotiation of letters of credit, standby letters of credit, bank guarantees, and trust receipts.
  • Ensure trade documents adhere to UCP 600, ISBP, and relevant industry standards.
  • Build and maintain relationships with banks, FIs, and alternative financiers.
  • Negotiate trade finance terms, costs, and documentation with banks and relevant parties.
  • Monitor financial risks and implement mitigation measures to protect company assets.
  • Oversee utilization, renewal, and compliance of trade facilities with accurate reporting.
  • Work with traders and operations on financing needs and cash flow planning.
  • Develop and support group investments and holding company initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations, Know Your Customer (KYC), internal controls, and audits.
