Trade Finance Leader – Oil Industry

About the Role

We seek an experienced Trade Finance Leader to oversee trade finance transactions, including letters of credit, trade loans, and guarantees. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commodities finance, preferably within the Oil & Gas sector.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage and structure financing solutions, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and mitigating associated risks.
  • Negotiate terms with financial institutions, secure trade finance facilities, and provide regular reporting.
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders, facilitating effective communication and contract execution.

Key Requirements:

  • At least 10 years of experience in trade finance, preferably within commodities firms operating in the Oil & Gas industry.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing team.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
  • In-depth knowledge of trade finance instruments, risk management practices, and commodity trading.
