**Job Title:** Operations Manager

 

The role of Operations Manager involves providing exceptional customer service to callers and stakeholders. The primary goal is to ensure effective communication and efficient scheduling of surgery slots and bed bookings.

This position requires daily operations management, resolving appointment service lapses, implementing systemic improvements, and ensuring staff competency in Scheduling and bed management applications.

You will attend to incoming calls from internal and external stakeholders pertaining to operating theatre bookings/bed admission requests. Your objective is to maintain smooth daily operations of the Bed & Surgical Booking Office while adhering to service standards for scheduling and bed booking calls.

Maintaining compliance with hospital policies, participating in team performance management, and implementing contingency protocols to ensure service continuity are key aspects of this role.

You will also be responsible for preparing monthly reports on call service level, including justification and actions plan for unmet service levels.

  • Possess a Diploma in a relevant field.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a healthcare/call centre setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to communicate effectively with doctors, clinic managers, and hospital staff.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, SCM Scheduling, and Patient Flow systems.
