Key Responsibilities
  • Compliance Support: Provide support for all compliance-related matters and issues for the department, including contract management, procedure updates, information management, and other compliance-related matters.
  • Account Closing and Reporting: Manage account closing and head office reporting matters for subsidiaries and affiliates under the department's purview.
  • Business Continuity Planning: Manage all BCP-related matters, including annual BCP review, business impact analysis, and updates of policies and procedures.
  • Governance and Reporting: Support governance and reporting matters for subsidiaries and affiliates under the department's purview.
  • Translation Support: Provide translation support for the department.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree or diploma qualifications with a minimum of 5 years of working experience, with experience in handling reporting and compliance-related matters.
  • Compliance Experience: Demonstrated experience in managing compliance matters will be highly desirable.
  • Reporting and Compliance Skills: Experience in facilitation and management of reporting matters.
  • Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational skills and time management with the ability to process multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Attention to Detail: Attention to detail, and ability to work independently or in collaboration with other team members internally and across different countries.
  • Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication abilities (verbal and written).
  • Financial Knowledge: Basic understanding of financial and accounting concepts and ability to read financial statements will be advantageous.
  • Language Skills: Proficiency in both English and Japanese is required to assist in the submission of reports in Japanese language.
  • Computer Skills: Basic computing skills required, eg. MS Words, Excel, and PowerPoint.
