Key Responsibilities
As a Family Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing counselling services to individuals and families in need. This will include conducting intervention programmes for adults and children impacted by divorce, as well as planning and implementing outreach efforts. You will also be responsible for providing information and referral services, and carrying out administrative duties as required by the Agency.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a degree in Counselling or Social Work, and at least 3 years of relevant experience in counselling. You will also need to have good command of the English language and writing skills, as well as good interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a team. Additionally, you will need to have the ability to provide assessment and therapeutic intervention, network with partners for clients and programmes, and plan, conduct and evaluate programmes.
Preferred Qualities
We are looking for someone who is diligent, integrity and resilient, flexible and steady under pressure, and open to learning. You will also need to have a passion for working with families in distress. If you are a team player who is able to work in a fast-paced environment, we encourage you to apply.
