Water Sector Investment Opportunity

Our organization is seeking a highly skilled professional to lead our efforts in advancing our strategy by driving investments in the water sector in Asia.

The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and executing investment opportunities while collaborating with a diverse team of professionals committed to sustainability.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Deal Sourcing and Execution: Identify and evaluate potential investment opportunities in the water sector, including renewable energy, energy efficiency, and sustainable agriculture.
  • Investment Strategy Development: Formulate and implement investment strategies that align with our mission to support innovative climate solutions.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities within the Asian climate landscape.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, present investment proposals to align with fund objectives.
  • Portfolio Management: Oversee the performance of portfolio companies, providing strategic guidance to enhance growth and impact.
  • Thought Leadership: Represent the firm at industry conferences and events, contributing to discussions on climate investment trends and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience (8+ years) in private equity or venture capital, with a focus on climate, climate tech or sustainability sectors.
  • Strong understanding of the Asian market dynamics related to water, infrastructure, or sustainability.
  • Demonstrated ability to source and execute complex investment transactions successfully.
  • Excellent analytical skills with a track record of conducting in-depth market research.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% and a passion for solving real-world problems in underserved markets.
