Job Title: Dining Service Associate

Dining service associates play a vital role in ensuring exceptional guest experiences. In this position, you will be responsible for delivering outstanding customer service while maintaining a clean and organized dining environment.

Job Description:

Our dining service associates are the face of our establishment, providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere to our guests. Your primary responsibility will be to greet and seat guests, take orders accurately, and serve food and beverages in a timely manner.

Responsibilities:
  1. Greet and welcome guests, taking orders and serving food and beverages efficiently.
  2. Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise.
  3. Maintain a thorough knowledge of our menu, including ingredients, preparation methods, and pairing suggestions.
  4. Take orders accurately and efficiently using a point-of-sale system.
  5. Serve food and beverages, ensuring that orders are delivered correctly and in a timely manner.
  6. Assist with setting up and breaking down tables, including linens, silverware, and glassware.
  7. Monitor and maintain inventory levels, reporting any shortages or discrepancies to management.
  8. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient service and resolve any issues.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience as a waiter/waitress in a restaurant environment preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
