About the Position:

We are seeking an accomplished professional in workplace safety and risk assessment to take on a key role at our organization. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in identifying and mitigating hazards, as well as ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with employers to guarantee contractors meet regulatory requirements under WSH Act;
  • Develop and implement effective WSH plans and procedures for projects, working closely with contractors' health and safety departments;
  • Review contractors' adherence to Workplace Safety & Health Act and Regulations, Codes of Practice, and Employer's Health and Safety policy;
  • Conduct comprehensive WSH induction training for project personnel and establish project health and safety committee structures;
  • Monitor health and safety on site, review results, and provide recommendations;
  • Attend regular WSH committee meetings, project meetings, and site discussions as required;
  • Conduct regular site safety and health inspections, follow up on closures, and review investigation reports;
  • Work with employers and contractors to establish emergency response plans and submit weekly site inspection reports;
  • Review and maintain accurate WSH records, certificates, notices, and documents;
  • Assist in preparing and submitting safety and health documents to authorities;
  • Investigate incidents relating to employees, prepare preliminary reports, and assist with work injury compensation claims;
  • Initiate necessary arrangements for fellow workers to undergo required safety and health orientation courses and other related courses;
  • Provide in-house safety training to enhance safety consciousness among workers and develop company Risk Assessments and Safe Work Procedures.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Singaporean / PR status;
  • 5.5 days work week with occasional night shifts required;
  • Experience in Building Construction;
  • Medically fit;
  • Able to start immediately.
