Job Overview

We are seeking skilled professionals to fill the role of Structural Fitter. As a Structural Fitter, you will be responsible for building and maintaining pipe and structural systems.

You will work closely with other workers to produce finished constructions, adhering to safety guidelines and using protective equipment when necessary.

Your responsibilities will include reviewing blueprints, setting specifications, inspecting and preparing sites for construction operations, and using and maintaining tools.

  • Review blueprints to understand project requirements
  • Set and modify specifications as needed
  • Inspect and prepare sites for construction operations
  • Maintain knowledge of gas cutting and welding techniques
  • Conduct fit-up inspections and ensure compliance with safety protocols
  • Participate in on-site work experience and collaborate with other workers

Successful candidates must possess strong numerical and communication skills, as well as the ability to carry loads and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • Proven experience as a Structural Fitter
  • Knowledge of health and safety guidelines when dealing with hazardous materials or equipment
  • Excellent numerical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team

In addition to these core qualifications, we require candidates to have experience working with various materials, including steel, and to be familiar with civil engineering principles and practices.
